When I joined the Association 18 years ago, I did so believing it was a good decision for the growth of my company. I thought it would help me generate more business.

Today, after all this time, I know that what ASEPROCE has truly given me is something far more valuable: security, peace of mind, and a sense of belonging.

We are self-taught professionals; we do not have lifelong friends who work in this field — a field for which no formal school exists. Here, we have learned from one another, sharing experiences, doubts, and successes, and that has helped us make better decisions — not only as entrepreneurs, but also for the future of the many thousands of young people whose personal, academic, and professional lives will enrich us all as a society.

As a group, we have gone through very difficult times: wars, pandemics, unimaginable political changes, and economic crises that have reshaped the world. Facing all of this would have been impossible without your support, your advice, and, above all, your ability to listen — even when there were no clear answers.

But there have also been countless good moments. We have traveled the world together, met people from every corner of it, laughed a lot — a great deal — and also cried when some colleagues left us and now watch over us from what we fondly call the ASEPROCE sky.

This week I will step down as President of our Association, after 15 years serving in different roles within the Board, to which I have given, with humility, the very best I knew how to give.

I leave happy for what we have lived and deeply grateful for everything I have learned.

But what truly allows me to sleep peacefully is knowing that, the following week, I will still be part of ASEPROCE.
